No matter how nice they put it. ROBINSON'S AIA SPECIAL PRIVILEGE SHOPPING SPREE IS A FREAKING WASTE OF TIME!! That. And my mother is a kiasu auntie. Hell. Make me wake up early in the morning so that we can hopefully be the first 100 agents and get an additional 100 dollars shopping voucher only to arrive like the 200th person at 9 am. With people going around boasting they arrived at 6.30 IN THE MORNING to get the first and second place. (How proud!) And when they finally open the gates, all 300 odd people rush to the top where breakfast was only to get jammed at the escalator landing and the food queue being continuously cut. And my mother can cut a queue and pretend to not be able to hear me when I ask her to go to the back. AND SHE DARE TALK ABOUT IT AFTERWARDS! Hello! She was the one who complained about ugly Singaporeans.

Trust me. Robinson's may have been unprecedentedly crowded at 9.30 in the morning (much to the delighted observation of my mother). But IT WAS FILLED WITH KIASUS! Freak. They were cutting queue as though it was the rule, stacking their plates with too much food, and talking loudly how early they came. How can you boast about how kiasu you are and not be ashamed?! Then they were eating and putting their food ON THE CLOTHES. Thank goodness it was the men's section. But that didn't help. Moving down to the lower levels and looking at those aunties browsing through the clothes totally kept me off them. Those sections with no one (and nice clothes), had price tags of $150 for a shirt. Sick.

And a Robinson's store manager nearly ran me over with a cart of clothes. How can he be so blind?! He was staring right at me, AND SMILING! That idiot. And he just pushed the cart towards me. I can tell you for sure. I am NEVER EVER going to step into that Robinson's store again. I got nothing. Wasted my time. Wasted my bus fare. Lost my sleep. Spoilt my day. People! Let's just stick to Giodarno and Baleno. Cheap, nice and a good buy.
