Ok, so I love coffee (probably a bad habit picked up from my parents). But it was probably a bad idea to have coffee after dinner. So now, I can't sleep! lalala.

So I think I should write something. But what??

That's the bad thing about inspiration/insights. The stakes are too high. When it comes, it really comes. Brilliant and original. But when it doesn't, it sure is a dry well.

Come to think of it, it's pretty much like the weather. Just as unpredictable.

School's gonna start in just more than a day's time! And then I'll be moving back to hall, and all the hall activities will kick in and whole cycle starts again..

Maybe cos I wasn't staying in hall (I wanted to say cos I'm not as active in hall, but then realised I was returning back to hall 3 or 4 times a week), this time, I'm actually excited to start school again. Hm..

Or maybe it's because I'm excited at what this new sem might bring. The people I know who will be going for lectures with me, the people I might meet during other lectures and tutorials, the stuff that I'll be learning, the skills I'll be gaining.... I wonder

All geared up and ready to go!

Personal jokes

Went out with my two favourite people today. As usual, I kept laughing to myself on my way back and after. So I decided to list down stuff that make me laugh uncontrollably when I see them so that people will not think that I'm in love or crazy.

1. Ribs

2. Penguin

3. Citadel

4. Pitstop

5. President's daughter

6. Rover

7. Chronicles of the darkroom

8. Watermelon

9. Papaya

10. Suntec's fountain of wealth

11. Darkroom

12. Silver armour

13. 5 am in the morning

14. Andersen's ice cream

15. Crystal Jade

16. Birthdays

17. Operation typhoon storm

18. Badminton

19. Lighthouses

20. Guiness ad (the one with penguins)

21. Purple

22. Njc

23. Late nights out

24. Magic

25. Raffles

26. Clarke Quay

Hahaha. There are too many stuff associated with one word to list down all. These memories are too beautiful to write down in words too. They are the ones that makes you laugh when you walk by a certain shop, that get you giggling when you start thinking of them, that shape the conversation of the future that no one else will ever understand.

The silly things that we do that makes something happen everywhere we go, that have people remembering us for all the wrong reasons, that make us smile when we just think back to what happened.

Ooh! Warm fuzzy feeling that makes me glad I'm young, was young and will always be young. Hehe. Thank you, Father.

Why is the world like that?

****************************************************************
My last late night out of 2007.

I went into the cinema with Chee Fung and Jun Zhan, and came out with a furniture-maker hopeful and a papaya.

****************************************************************

1. Why is democracy the ideal ideology?

2. Why don't the USA have had female presidents before?

3. Why is the USA the richest country in the world?

4. What would Singapore be like if the Chinese didn't migrate south?

5. What would the world be if Einstein was German?

6. What if MacDonald's hadn't caught on in America?

7. What if SPH didn't try out their media venture with Channels U and I?

8. Why is everything in Seoul so expensive?

9. What if Bill Clinton's scandal was not found out?

And here are my one-line answers:

1. Because the richest country in the world, USA, believes in it.

2. Because the truly sexist country is the USA.

3. Because USA is on a continent separate from the world.

4. Lee Kwan Yew would be a government leader in China, and Singapore will be under Malay rule.

5. The USA would still be the richest cos they are on a continent separate from the world, but Japan would still be occupying *gasp! Singapore..

6. Then we'll be having Billy Bombers around every corner instead.

7. Then we would not have as many big stars in Quan Yifeng, Guo Liang and Adrian Pang.

8. Because it is the capital of Korea, and Koreans support Korean products which give the Korean companies virtual monopolies and allows them to jack up the prices.

9. Then Bush would not be in the oval office right now, and we'll have world peace!
