Mediacorp ran the charity show tonight. Quite a hastily put up show, obviously. But somehow, I just have my doubts about it.
What is it about the Sichuan quake that warrants an emergency charity show?
It is not the first or only major disaster in recent times. Why is it the only emergency charity show?
September 11 - nothing; Boxing day tsunami - nothing; Hurricane Katrina - nothing; Nicoll Highway collapse - nothing; Cyclone Nargis - nothing.
Not saying that there wasn't anything done, just nothing on the media besides Front Page attention. Why arh?
